"A very beautiful resort. My mistake was I didn't check how the beach was at their property and I was sorely disappointed that it was a rocky beach and requires you to walk quite far to get to a part where you can swim (which we didn't even attempt). If you're looking for a good resort that offers diving for beginners or pro this might be a good one for you. But if you're looking to lounge around the beach and swim in the ocean, this might not be it. The shore itself was grainy and lots of corals and shells. The shore doesn't seem to be well-maintained, too because of the trash. (Maybe it's not their responsibility) Food was not very good. Ordered a burger and the buns were too thick and tough, I appreciate the effort that it looked like it was baked in-house, unfortunately, it was not good. Ordered chicken adobo and they used the breast part, it was overcooked, the chicken was tough and didn't have much sauce on it. Got Caipirinha and Amaretto Sour and didn't taste the way it's suppose to be. The salad, paksiw na fish and turon was delicious tough. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and was a little dismayed that we have to go get a tuktuk so we can go to another beach to lounge and snorkel. The rooms are beautiful though. They serve free nespresso coffee. Gives you a reusable water bottle to refill, which is a nice touch. Most of the staff seems to be OJT from TESDA and quite unsure what they need to do yet. Overall an okay stay."
"I cannot say enough good words about this place. First, it's not too far from the port. The resort itself is small enough to be cozy and peaceful but big enough to have everything you need. The beach is gorgeous, swimmable and has a good snorkeling area. The rooms are clean, comfy and the toiletries smells so good. If I'm nitpicking I wish they had more pillows but you can always ask for more if you want more than 2 pillows. Food is yummy and our rooms come with free breakfast, so convenient. Overall, I absolutely love this place. When I go back to Siquijor I would definitely stay here again and just here. Also, staff is absolutely amazing. Always ready to help, knows what they're doing, well-trained and always smiling. Owners are welcoming as well and very accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough. Absolutely love this place!!!"
"The overall experience is really good. Stayed 2 nights with my partner. Staff are very friendly. Walking to locations can take some time however the hotel has small transit units like golf buggies. Call reception and they come to collect and drop off.
No telephone in the room and no room service was slightly disappointing. Swimming pools need to be cleaned more frequently. Staff are very friendly. Food was really nice. Very quiet location if you want to completely switch off from things. Lovely views from the rooms."
"Had a fantastic stay at D’Hotel & Suites. The room was clean, the staff went above and beyond to make everything easy and comfortable, and both restaurants exceeded expectations, absolutely delicious. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."
"As usual, Ariana does not disappoint me. It is my go to hotel anytime I fly in and out of Dipolog City. The rooms are excellent, clean and the staff is just top notch. The food at the restaurant is fresh and excellent. I made the mistake of trying another hotel in town closer to the bus terminal. HUGE mistake and I will NEVER book D'Hotel again. Save yourself the hassle and stay at Ariana.
My only suggestion to Ariana would be this. Get yourself a better IT Staff. Your Wi-Fi could be stronger. It is a little weak in some areas of Ariana. I suspect that an overhaul is needed with better Wi-Fi equipment to completely cover the hotel."
"I was disappointed with the breakfast. Food is not delicious and staff are not friendly and attentive. I think the 600 pesos charge per person is ridiculous. Since the food is not good. The pillows are very hard and so as the bed. I suppose to have upcoming booking but decided to cancel it. I’m very disappointed. "
