"Very close to the port. Convenient. Supermarket, Pharmacy and some stores below the hotel. Great view from our room. Room clean and good enough for 1 nite stay before board to Komodo Island. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner on their restaurant. Good food. Breakfast was ok. I forgot my leg pillow. They kept it to pick it up after my island trip. And delivered to my villa. "When we arrived they had already checked someone in under our name - after 20-30 minutes they rectified the issue and we were shown to our room. The rooms were okay although people in the corridor can see straight through if the lights are on so make sure you keep the blinds closed. The pool/bar area is quite chaotic and can be a challenge to find a seat even if you are staying in house. There were a lot of people there just using the wifi and not buying anything preventing in house guests from having a seat and buying drinks etc. The hotel is incredible noisey there is no other way to describe it. You hear every interaction in the corridors, chairs being moved on the pool deck above and Thai all starts from early in the morning till late evening. Although the hotel advises it (to a fashion) it’s unbelievably noisey and this is not somewhere to stay if you are looking for restful sleep."

"If you’re looking for total relaxation, Menjaga Bay is perfection. This was the most relaxed and beautiful holiday I could have asked for. The staff are absolutely wonderful. I stayed with my young daughter and we already miss the staff’s kindness and smiling faces. I used the spa daily (massage) and of all the hotels I stayed at in Indonesia, these ladies were the absolute best! Every different therapist gave a consistent and completely body melting massage. I think I healed from years of stress here. Management is superb, and the food is delicious. We stayed for 7 days and never tired of the menu."
