Mystic Mountain Resort is definitely off the beaten path, being about 7 miles into the countryside away from the village, but I wouldn’t want it any other way! We felt like we were whisked away to China at Joyce Garden! Everything from the beautiful grounds, delicious dining at Green Pandan, to feeling safe and relaxed! Joyce and her family are very welcoming and kind! We can’t wait to go back!

The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!

The room was spacious and clean. Pool is in perfect shape and well maintained. Diane and Allen took every effort to make us feel welcome and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Unfortunately the noise level from the adjacent street was unpleasant during breakfast.

The property was gorgeous and very clean. The outdoor pool with a jungle view was breathtaking. Plenty of space and everything was very modern. Incredibly beautiful. So much to see on the 7200 acres. Abundant wildlife . Pine forest and broadleaf jungle. Jaguar Reserve. Waterfalls everywhere. Could not believe what we were seeing. Made it hard to travel off the property to see other sites. Staff was wonderful. Ofelia ,Marissa Jaime,Hector made us feel right at home.Really looked out for us. Accommodations exquisite. Food and drinks top shelf. Must return. Just scratched the surface in five days.

Lovely setting. Attentive staff were helpful with getting us a quick delicious bite to eat and then getting us into our beautiful room. We were the only guests and found everyone allowed us to be very casual. This was helpful and made our stay enjoyable

Our two nights at Banana Bank were excellent. We utilized the pool, took a river cruise, and our favorite, rode horses through the jungle. The staff were all polite and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the owners, who graciously shared their story with us and made us feel at home. We are already planning our next visit! We enjoyed taking our meals "family style" and getting to know other travelers, and our two children (ages 8 and 9) really enjoyed the entire experience.

The staff went out of their way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. Andrew and David were very knowledgeable and shared information with me that I found very helpful. The room and setting were beautiful. A very safe and welcoming place for families.

From the moment we stepped on property we had the feeling that we had found a special place in the jungle. Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle.
