"Initially the pool was closed, and we were told it doesn't open until 1st June. Fortunately it was opened on our second day, but had they stuck to their plan we would have been without it. There is no mention on the booking page that there are reduced facilities out of peak season.
There was no air-conditioning in the rooms.
Rooms are dark with no ceiling lights.
That said, the hotel is nice, with a pleasant pool area, and in a good location for the beach and town.
Sea gulls are very loud in the mornings outside the rooms, otherwise quiet."
"The parking is a misrepresentation, it’s on the street and anyone could mess with your vehicle. Buffet dinner is mediocre, and the promise of a sandy beach is a downright lie. You walk a few blocks to the beach and it is municipal, no lounger or sunshade. You are not allowed to take the pool towels to the beach. The staff definitely need retraining, as they try to bully you around. Loads of hotels closer to beach ….Melia.."
