"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. There is no AC in the rooms but with the window open the room cooled down plenty at night. They cleaned our room and the common areas every day once if not twice. Offered complimentary purified water stations which was amazing! The bathroom was small in our room if you’re tall (my husband is 6’4) but hey if that’s the worst, we will take it. Would definitely recommend and would come back!"

"Both nights we were woken by loud people well after the quiet hours of 10:00. The room was very hot and stuffy even with the fan and windows open so it was not an option to shut things. There are lovely courtyard spaces. But the couch area outside our room was usually littered with empty bottles and food wrappers. We were not able to check in by 3:00. We arrived quite early and waited patiently (understanding early check in is not guaranteed). Twice we were told 20 minutes until we had to leave for our tour. Seemed very disorganized. There are so many options in central Antigua. I’d check out a different place."

"I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we walked into the room, we immediately started itching, and even after showering, the discomfort continued. Unfortunately, we found multiple types of bugs in the bed, which made the room feel very unsanitary. The pillows were also stained, and I found red hair on my pillow even though I have blonde hair, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. To the staff’s credit, when we reported the issue, they were kind and moved us to a larger room. However, the problems continued. On our last night in the new room, the third bed had an ant infestation. After packing my belongings, I had to unpack everything because ants were crawling inside my suitcase. The hotel’s fountain and exterior are visually appealing and may attract guests, but the actual room conditions were unacceptable. I stayed on the second floor and would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they are comfortable dealing with bugs in their room at night."
