"This is a wonderful hotel, in a colonial town of San Cristobal de las Casas. The staff is great and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good; the fruit was fresh, bread was delicious and coffee was surprisingly delicious. My room was very clean, lots of towels, the mattress was comfortable, not hard and the pillows were soft and medium, exactly the way I like them. The shower had a strong pressure, with hot water, which is a must in any hotel in a small town in Mexico. I would suggest you ask for a room on the second floor, on the left side, because there’s a Disco at the end of the block and lots of restaurants where the young crowd gathers at night. I slept very comfortable, did not hear a sound and the cleaning lady was so attentive to any room items you may need. I think this is the biggest hotel in town, right in front of the plaza and close to restaurants, which are many and walking distance to everything you may want to see. There’s really no need to take a taxi, unless you’re going on a tour, then a comfortable van, with AC, will pick you up at your hotel. I came solo for 5 days of relaxation and was very happy I stayed here, I shall return."
