"The hotel looks extremely nice outside and inside however there is a major infestation of roaches! I was super upset to find 5 roaches on my first night. They couldn’t accommodate me because they were fully booked. However they tried to compensate us with a free dinner each at their restaurant. However, we were already disgusted and disappointed. The second night as I was packing there was a roach INSIDE on a shirt. I immediately packed ALL of my belongings and called the front to send someone to take all my bags to my car. I would say the staff all tried to accommodate us but I was over it and wanted out! In my defense this stay should’ve been free and this was unfortunate because the hotel really is super nice but having roaches?! Makes it a 1/10!! Staff was 10/10 "

"We have an ocean view from our room which it was in last floor. The room was not as incredible as the price we paid for it...the room was basically furnished and no decoration or somethings to make you cozy. Bathroom doesn't have a ventilation but a very small windows so you get a lot vapors during a shower. Not great at all. Pretty disappointed. You pay for the view. "

"Room was spacious with beautiful ocean view, just like the picture in the ads. The monkeys coming up to our patio was an unexpected extra. Golf cart driver was always around to offer trips up the STEEP hills from beach access, restaurant, and pools to guest rooms, though we preferred getting the workout. Pools were glorious. Beach pretty nice, though I'd recommend the better beaches inside park or outside park entrance. Staff went out of their way to get us a national park tour after an initial miscommunication canceled our reservation. Staff were wonderful all around. My only complaint is that the area around the hotel was not walkable and it was difficult to get to the nearby restaurants and music clubs without a taxi. "

"Staff is very friendly and helpful in providing tips on local places and restaurants. Rooms are clean and close to mall and restaurants. Restaurant, swimming pool, gift store and many more facilities within the hotel."

"Emigration into SJO was 2hrs. Drive from SJO to hotel was nightmare. Hotel was really great."
