"We wanted a relaxing last couple of days after a longer run around vacation. We loved that we didn’t have to go anywhere and everything and not we needed was found right outside our door. Great location, very nice rooms, and a very private relaxing atmosphere. "

"The hotel can be challenging if you have mobility issues as there are no elevators but they have carts if you need them on the steep inclines. Good location, beach is nice and not as hard to get to as some reviews said. Breakfast was great and included. Meals were good but I recommend venturing out for a few meals. La Cantina didn't disappoint. Loved our stay overall and would come back."

"What seems like a nice place is definitely ran with complete disregard and unethical practices. You choose what seems to be a nicer place to avoid the scams that can occurs yet they would rather take advantage of the customer for every cheap dollar. First our safe was broken in and left the entire stay. Next they try to get us to sing documents in the middle of the night when we are stopping at our room with friends. Trying to get us to sign a document agreeing to bogus fees while intoxicated is unacceptable. We did not have guests stay over night and we’re at the room for maybe 25 minutes as a group and stopped in then left. Completely inhospitable. We checked with the front desk about that when checking out and they clearly advise us that there is no fees and everything is all good so we check out. Now weeks later I find a $200 fee on my credit that they went and shared without my authorisation and refuse to refund me. Be very cautious with this hotel."

"La Mariposa is amazing! It is a beautiful! The food is wonderful. The pools are refreshing. There is a sloth and cat that live in the lobby. We saw lots of monkeys on the property. The staff was very helpful. We did the kayak tour of the Mangroves set up by the hotel for us. It was amazing and worth the education and fun! We highly recommend staying here!"

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ecotica. The pool area is well kept and inviting. The rooms could use a bit of updating but filled our purpose as it was spacious. The bathroom was small in proportion to the room. The breakfast served was fresh, but the fruit didn’t seem fresh. Nothing spectacular but there were few choices. The major downfall of the resort is the amount of stairs! Crazy amount of stairs in the humidity! The brightest stars were the front desk staff. Allison was the sweetest. She greeted us with a smile and was always there to help us with our plans. Raphael was also very helpful and accommodated our wishes whenever able. "
