Fairmont Hotel La Marina Rabat Sale
4/10 Poor
"Disappointing stay overall. While the hotel is new, beautifully designed, close to the beach and set in a pleasant surrounding, the service level — especially from the front desk and restaurant teams — falls far below what we recently experienced in Marrakech and Casablanca.
Despite requesting two quiet adjacent rooms well ahead of the trip, the hotel assigned us rooms on completely different floors and opposite ends of the property. For a hotel of this size claiming to be five-star, this feels unacceptable and simply careless. Even with the hotel being fully booked, it should not have been difficult to accommodate such a basic request.
The rooms are also surprisingly noisy. Music from the rooftop bar continues past midnight, and with cars constantly arriving around the hotel entrance, light sleepers should look elsewhere.
If you want luxury in Rabat, the nearby Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is likely a better choice. For more affordable comfort, Rabat Marriott Hotel would probably offer a better overall experience. Unfortunately, this stay was not worth it."
"Don't trust them! Without telling us anything, they tried to give us a lower rated room than what we had booked and paid for. When we inquired, they admitted to downgrading us because they had none available. We wouldn't have it so they suddenly found a room on the first floor. We insisted again and they found another one on the second floor. By then we had had enough and accepted because it was only for one night but I wonder how high we could have gone... Shameful"
"I sincerely do not recommend staying here. I was there for 3 nights for work, and would never stay in such a place again. The place was unkept, the staff was unhelpful and/or unprepared to resolve issues, the whole facility was LOUD, and it was just a bad experience overall."
"Amazing, warm staff. Beautiful rooms and the whole hotel is immaculate. Great use of the original buildings alongside the new. As with all Four Seasons the decor is top end with beautiful furnishings and flowers in all public spaces.
The standard rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. Comfortable huge beds, amazing walk in shower and huge free standing bath.
Restaurants are all excellent, we ate at all of them. Service was friendly and generous.
Pools were both wonderful, outdoor and indoor. Only slight pick up on the spa is there were some issues with jacuzzi and sauna/steam areas that were still not fixed during the 8 days we stayed.
Only other slight negative is there needs to be a bit better organisation on the excursions. We went on 3, and has to do a fair bit of chasing to get things confirmed and properly arranged. Not the usual slick 4 Seasons operation.
Overall though, Rabat is a wonderful city and the Four Seasons is an amazing place to stay there."
