10/10 Excellent
"Breathtaking views and amazing staff at this newly-opened resort. Visited for the Grand Opening to celebrate a milestone birthday, and chose a swim-out room! Because of the opening, some of the amenities were not available. The staff were amazing (kind, respectful, and eager to help) although they were still learning (which was understandable). The food choices were adequate and leave some area for improvement for taste, but all-in-all this was a wonderful experience with the beach and pool amenities, as well as the amazing artfully-inspired entertainment, and water activities, including snorkeling, and hydro-aerobics."
"Mango Bay Resort is in a great area with a beautiful beach, access to great restaurants, and within short driving distance to scenic, historical, and nature reserves. The staff is very accommodating, and I sincerely hope they are paid adequately."
"Beautiful beach for swimming and snorkelling. Loved going out on the catamaran with Ryan from the watersports. Room very comfortable and the sea view was breathtaking. Reception staff were very warm and efficient at check in and check out."
"The hotel is a great location, close to grocery stores, Starbucks is across the street. Kitchen with full refrigerator and stovetop. Coffee pot in room. Shopping and restaurants are all walking distance. Beach bar, restaurant, pool and beach chairs with umbrellas right outside your back door. Staff and security are excellent. Towels are hard to get so bring your own or plan ahead for your next towel. Busy street out front so horns from buses can be loud if trying to sleep in or rest during the day but I’d definitely stay there again. The beach was clean and we didn’t have to worry about sargassum the entire week. The marine park is right next door if you like to snorkel and the fish are amazing!"
"Fabulous hotel and facilities. Every member of staff was amazing, front desk, restaurant, cleaners etc.
This was my second visit and I highly recommend it."
"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I don’t say that lightly, having previously stayed at many 5 star resorts, and famous properties like the Ritz in London and Madrid, the Vier Jahrezeiten in Hamburg and Munich, the Sandy Lane here in Barbados, etc.
the hotel is not for everyone. It’s traditional understated luxury, somewhat geared to British tourists. There is a dress code at the restaurant (no shorts for dinner, no hats, no t-shirts). Also if you’re looking for glitzy modern luxury a-la Ritz Carlton, this is not for you. There are no TVs in the rooms. The hotel has less than 100 rooms. The beach is superb."
