Hotel Vík í Mýrdal

"Amazing staff. Walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Great breakfast. Notice that just in front of the hotel there are low rising apartments, so the view is not really to the beach."
"Overall a great place to stay. Nice breakfast with lots of food options. Modern and fancy hallway. Rooms are new looking albeit Ikea like in furnishing. Overall pretty stylish though.
Couple of unfortunate issues for me which prevented me from giving it 5 stars:
-Random large ball of someone's hair was left in my bathroom (Ewww)
-The room was 27.5 degrees celsius so like a sauna. It was unclear how to reduce it and the thermostat was a bit unusual so I left the window open a while instead."
"Very cool hotel, clean, well taken care of. Love the breakfast buffet in the morning with the beautiful mountain view. Plenty of parking, walkable and location can’t be beat. Great jumping point for so many excursions. Staff were welcoming and helpful answering questions. "
