"Very modern and stylish hotel, professional staff. Fun game room and nice relaxing/reading area next to it. Booked a standard room as a triple as offered on the website but room did not really fit 3 beds/people. Would not offer a standard room as triple. "
"The Farmhouse Lodge is actually a few separate buildings. We stayed in Guesthouse Room #5 with our own private bathroom, which was huge. There are no staff members on the property so we followed a series of signs to go to the building where the keys were kept for “check-in.” An email in advance with instructions and what to expect would have been helpful. Our room was plenty big with a little seating area but there was an odd clicking noise from one corner over the bed and what looked like mold on the ceiling. There was no landline in the room so when we had a problem with the toilet, it took us a few minutes to get in touch with someone who could take care of it. They were very responsive and while we went to dinner in town, they fixed it. There wasn’t a refrigerator in our room but it was cold enough that night to keep our Black Crust Pizza leftovers in the car. It looked like there was a common area for breakfast but we decided to go straight to the black sand beaches and lighthouse and had brunch at Faxi Bakery. "
"What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen, washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get to try out the hot tub. Next time.😊"
