One thing that they need to do a little bit of work on is the staff needs to be more personable many of them are young and not, and there is a language barrier nevertheless simple social interaction with the guests goes a long way."

"It was amazing, no need to ever leave the resort. The rooms where spacious and clean with a loaded mini that you could have restocked upon your request. Multiple Restaurants, Bars, Buffets, Pools, Shows, Activities and so on. Every staff member, no matter who it was or what their job is. They went far and above and were just so wonderful and kind, especially our Butler Bolivar.

"Amenities were great, kids loved the drop off and the water park. The staff were kind and friendly. Shuttle drivers were amazing and so professional. Food was good especially loved the breakfast options! Restaurants were a nice way to switch things up! Rooms were cleaned very well. Housekeeping was amazing. We would definitely come back! "
"Excellence El Carmen - Dominican Republic is a wonderful choice for an all-inclusive luxury vacation. It is nicely designed and organized so that you can be either active day and night, or alternatively, nice and quiet. The rooms are large and have beautiful balconies to enjoy. The beach is clean and easy to walk for several km in either direction. The food in the lunch and dinner restaurants is good, not great. The breakfast buffet is extensive with a huge variety available for you to enjoy. The Club pools are nice and quiet, while the main pool and beach are very active. We give a special shoutout to Jerson, bartending at the Club Pool. A major shoutout also goes to our guest services host Marleny. Marleny looked after anything that we needed during our stay, and made the vacation that much more enjoyable. She is an invaluable resource. This was our first experience at an Excellence property, and we look forward to many more in the future!"
"The staff was very nice. The rooms were also very nice. Most of the food was very good. There were a lot of options of where to hang out. They did a great job of cleaning the beach every morning. We stayed in a swim out room facing the pool and it was great. Only real complaint is the pools are not heated and were quite cold."
