"Inn was nice, historic, and located walking distance to shops, museums, downtown, and the battlefield. Staff was nice and so relaxed which surprised me after the excessive messages I received before checking in. Parking was tight for a large vehicle, but easy though you do have to walk down and up stairs with luggage. "

"I am surprised by the high ratings. This hotel is very old and in need of updates. The room smelled like it had been smoked in at some point and there were holes in the wall, peeling wallpaper/paint, and the AC/heater fan had to be constantly on unless you turned off the unit, so it blew in your face at night. The light switch in the bathroom appeared to have blood on it. I had a Clorox wipe so I just wiped everything down. The door to the room let in a lot of light from the hall around it and the room had a connecting door in it so you could hear people next door. The fireplace area when you walk in is nice and the breakfast was pretty good. The bed and pillows were decently comfortable. The hotel staff (a younger girl) at check in was not friendly at all and barely spoke to us. The gentlemen serving the breakfast area was friendly and helpful. Pictures were definitely deceiving on this hotel. "

"I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this Hyatt property. I booked a room for March 6 but cancelled the reservation within about an hour after learning that my international travel plans had changed due to a major disruption overseas. A Hyatt representative even sent a waiver to the front desk confirming the charge should be waived. Despite cancelling immediately and never checking in or using the room, I was still charged. When I contacted the hotel, the manager refused to review the situation and stated that because the hotel was fully booked that night, a refund would not be issued. This was very frustrating, especially given the circumstances and the waiver that had already been sent. I have since escalated the issue to Hyatt corporate and hope they will resolve it fairly. I expected better customer service and understanding from a brand like Hyatt."

"Just bring yourself and whatever you are eating and drinking. All amenities were included that you would need. Firewood with starters and lighters, full small kitchen, towels soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels. Seriously, get ready to relax and enjoy. ♥️"
