"Beach view was great! Staff is excellent. The breakfast included made-to-order omlet. Choices of several veges and meats includeed. It appears to be an older building and the room was updated. Our room appeared to have all new furnishings and new bathroom fixtures."
"We had a one bedroom suite but no ocean view.
We lived the location. An easy stroll to several restaurants and the public beach is just across the street. The pool was heated which was nice this time of the year with a live band at night in the adjacent restaurant on the second floor. The main complaint for us was this is a pet friendly hotel and we had to watch where we stepped around the outside of the building and inside expect to be sniffed, some dogs were aggressive and the owners had to pick them up
or pull hard on their leashes. At night we would

"This was the second time I’ve stayed here and for me it’s about affordable place to sleep as my adventures were all close by and I wasn’t in the room much. This room was better than last time and they have updated the fridges and microwaves. Staff was friendly and helpful and no major issues to worry about! "
"This Microtel has gone down quite a bit! I have been staying there for around 15 years off and on. When I officiate a College Softball Tournament in Gulf Shores I have always stayed there. Probably my last time this past weekend!"
"Upon checking in late night no one was there i found the person cleaning the lobby and asked him if there is a receptionist. He found the receptionist and not to mention he seemed very strange. We were very tired it was past midnight, and i asked the receptionist if there is water bottles in the room and he said he cant guarantee this and isn't sure. He gave really strange response, and strange looks he was very odd. The man in the morning in the front was pleasant however.night staff Very unprofessional, not to mention hair on the bed like a mans hair randomly. Wouldnt recommend this place. "
