Hotels with Parking in Alberta

"When we arrived at Hotel Canoe, we were able to check in early since our room was ready, which was a great start. The front desk staff were friendly and provided clear instructions on parking, room access, amenities, and the tunnel connecting all three buildings. The building itself is beautiful, with a clean lobby, great views, and a rooftop hot tub. Each day, guests can order tea or coffee to take to their room, which comes with milk/creamer and sugar in a cloth bag. Unfortunately, not knowing this on the first day, I ended up spilling creamer on some of my belongings. The room looked nice at first, but we noticed some issues. The bedsheets had small tears, and the bench and couch had noticeable stains. The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable, making for a poor night’s sleep. However, the rest of the room was clean, with fresh towels, toiletries, and beautiful mountain views. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main strip, so nearby food options are limited. They do provide bus day passes, which is a nice touch, though we chose to walk. We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub, which had clean towels, change rooms, and lockers, but bring your own sandals. Overall, an enjoyable stay, but we likely wouldn’t return."

"The front counter people were excellent and the food in the restaurant and free breakfast were really good. The property is really showing it's age and finally our bed has ants in it that we had to brush off before we could sleep. We were way too tired after 12 hours on the road to ask for a new room as they were no biting sugar ants and just made you feel dirty."

"Great place for travelling, close to the airport. We had such a great experience except for the server (restaurant) on April 25 around 9:30 am, the blond girl, she was very unpleasant, and had a worse customer service towards us. Overall, the hotel staffs were great!"

"This property is beautiful!! It is updated and modern inside! It was such a nice change not having carpet inside a hotel room :) the fireplaces were a welcome touch on such a cold day! The pool, waterslide, hot tub and sauna were well kept, there were always towels available and staff around to ask if needed. The change rooms and shower on the pool and gym floor was a welcomed change! The breakfast had lots of great options for the whole family! The only “thing” we would suggest is an upgraded coffee machine! But that’s a personal preference. We will definitely be staying here again! 10/10 recommend to those with kids looking for swimming and breakfast included options!!"
