"Room was spacious and well appointed with a great view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom was large with an oversized tub. The hotel feels high end even though it’s beside an amusement park. The free bus stops right outside and takes you into town to experience Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi and many restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel so have no insight into the restaurant."

"Clean and tidy, two bedrooms plus an upstairs area with a kitchen and living area. Beds are firm, good shower. Check in process simple. We were there in winter and found the heating effective. Close to nice restaurants, convenience store and train station. We did hear the rail crossing, the area was otherwise quiet. Views of Mt Fuji from our flat. "

"What a wonderful stay with loads of great amenities like the dryer to dry all my rain drenched clothes, the lovely little onsen for warming our cold bodies and the warmth of the hospitality of the staff. Fabulous. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of nice additions, like hot water machine for tea, extra toothbrushes, etc. Breakfast was very good too. A short walk to the bus station with the very clear instructions by the helpful staff during the booking process. And, the best part...

"We were happy to stay in a comfortable place near the lake. It's a brief walk down to the lake shore, and we saw swans! We relaxed our tired muscles in the hot waters of the onsen, and then in the morning it was a short drive to see the incomparable Mt. Fuji!"

It's great to have an entire grill area to yourself. Just bring some food to grill. There's a small market within walking distance (.5mile) that has things like deer sausage and veggies.
