"I love the layout of the property but please be aware due to proximity to the rainforest there are A LOT of bugs. My wife and I fought for our lives against a giant cockroach and the villa definitely had a lot of ants and spiders. The plunge hours being limited to the spa hours was a downside for us as well. My wife recommends the facial! The private pool was awesome. Truly if we didnt have the bug issues I would have given it 5 stars."

Highlights were the amazing pool, the food in the restaurant (particularly the Indonesian night), the big rooms (although dated), beautiful trees and the rainforest walk through. I recommend 'Port Douglas premium transfers' to and from the airport - awesome driver. SR coaches cancelled on us. Port Douglas is incredible, the beach is so beautiful. Also a great cafe called St. Crispins a short walk from the resort with awesome food and coffee. We would come back and stay here!"
