Hotel Riu Palace Pacifico - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Beautifil oceanside location, clean and new looking amenities with friendly staff. The buffet selections were always top notch as welll as a great assortment of fresh fruit at every meal."
"Great time! Would have been even better if a staff member would have taken towels away from people who used them to get chairs first thing in the morning by the pool but never showed up till late afternoon. Saw so many families looking for chairs with little kids and was unfortunate that staff didn’t monitor that. "
"Overall a great stay! Not a massive resort which is nice.
Cleanliness was good - I would say the hotel rooms could use a better wipe down on like the actual furniture and cabinets. Public bathrooms around resort were super clean, lady was always cleaning them.
Food at the buffet was good, always something to eat and enjoy. Would say the service at the buffets wasn’t always great, sometimes could sit for your whole meal without speaking to a server for coffee.
The adult pool had alot of residue in it which was a bit gross, there’s foam parties that happen in it so I’m sure that’s what contributes to it.
The Japanese restaurant was fantastic! Would recommend booking a few dinners there. Service in restaurants was also great.
Overall cute place, overall friendly staff and had whatever you needed. Would recommend and stay again. "
"Great buffet, but same rotation of product. A la carte restaurants not very good, especially Asian and Italian. Steakhouse was best. Decent property with nice beach and good entertainment (albeit short duration), busy pools seem small for amount of guests, no adult only pools, kids everywhere jumping and splashing. No courts, bikes, boogie boards, etc available (maybe for rent?) Overall 7/10 - its not a palace, but still a RIU "
Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"This was our 3rd visit as a family to the Grand Palladium. We keep coming back for the beautiful beach, delicious food, and my kids love the water slides. For this visit, we decided to stay on the Family Selection side for the first time. We loved the à la carte dinner at the Nest restaurant and the pool side food available for lunch at the Family Selection pool. There is construction going on next to the Family Selection area which is why we got it at a discounted rate but the noise didn’t bother us at all, we couldn’t hear it from our room. My kids loved the activities every afternoon at the Family Selection kids club.
We ate at the buffet most days for breakfast and loved the crepes and omelettes! The huevos rancheros from the Nest was delicious for a change though. The adalita restaurant was a highlight as well.
The beach is the main draw of this property, it’s stunning. We loved using the boogie boards, paddle boards, and kayaks available. My only minor complaint is that I wish the staff enforced the “no seat saving” rule posted around the resort. My family would be the first ones at the beach every morning and we had no where to sit, every lounger was reserved even though no one else was at the beach. After a few days we were more comfortable with moving towels to the side and returning them when we left.
The staff at the Grand Palladium are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. A special shout out to Josué who was so great, gracias!
We hope to return again!"
"Always had issues making “reservations” for everything. Nothing was accommodating. Front staff girls were not helpful at all. Omar was the biggest help and made our day every-time we seen him. He was the best part of the hotel. AC works amazing! "
