"Lovely traditional hotel set on the beachfront road overlooking the sea at Sidmouth. We reserved one night and the staff were all very polite and helpful, our room, although a standard classification, was extremely comfortable with a lovely King sized bed, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, towels were all of excellent quality, also a big bonus was having car parking available on site by pre-booking, overall a throughly enjoyable stay at the Riviera we would definitely return."

"The hotel has a fantastic location and very convenient for lots of small independent shops. The hotel advertises as pet friendly. I had a dog travelling with me and she was only allowed in the bedroom and none of the public places. Overall it was a very good place for a weekend trip."
