Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Overall a very nice resort, even thought part of the property is showing its age.
Everything was immaculate and clean. We did have issues with no water pressure in the room one day, but it was resolved after about an hour of it being reported. Our A/C also had moments where it was not super cold. Our jacuzzi took forever to fill, and didn't hold water very well, so it was not very useful.
Overall the staff was exceptional! You get a personal "butler" or concierge that takes care of anything you need, from room issues to restaurant reservations, to excursions. Jeffery, our butler was a true star, and really made the stay great.
Food was average for an all-inclusive resort. Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad. Plenty of choices in buffet style or made to order restaurants.
Bar service and selection was outstanding. Many top shelf options, and great bartenders. Only complaint would be most of the bars closed early with only 2 options at the very front of the resort after 11:00pm.
Overall, a very good value. I only knocked it one star due to the minor issues with the room."
"Had a great stay. The property was very large in somewhat hard to navigate sometimes. Did not have a great introduction to the property upon arrival and took awhile to learn it. Was not introduced to our butler until 3 days into the trip and had to try to figure out booking on app which was difficult."
"If you're looking for a party all day and night, this is the place. There's never a dull moment; there's always something to do. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, there are also areas for that. The buffet food is excellent; there's no need to bother with the specialty restaurants, although they are also very good. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for seniors, as it could be overwhelming for them given the number of young people who frequent it."
