When we arrived, the manager was called to tell us that unfortunately the hotel had been overbooked and our room had been given away. Needless to say, we were NOT HAPPY - especially because we had booked many months previous. Maik, the manager apologized profusely and told us that he had secured an oceanfront condo just a few hundred meters away for us.

When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.
We loved the small 2-bedroom apartment we booked for 3 weeks in July. For 2 kids and one adult it was perfect in size. It got a bit messy when we were 4 people. However, you are usually out and about and everything is close by on foot...

The pool is cleaned daily and really well taken care off.
Our apartment was right by the pool and the kids loved to dip into it daily, and I could see them from the apartment and veranda.

We loved our stay at The Coast Beachfront Hotel! The staff is amazing. The room was awesome. Wonderful experience and we will be back. It was even better than some of the places we’ve stayed beachfront in the US. We can hardly wait to go back!
I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean, and great breakfast that was provided every morning. Beautiful views and was very peaceful and quite. With that said, it’s within walking distance of all bars, clubs, restaurants, beach etc. in Tamarindo. Definitely would recommend. Staff was very friendly and nice as well!
10/10!!! The hotel is great but the service by management is 12/10 off the charts! I can promise we will be back and this is one of the rare properties that I will give lots of recommendations for. Thanks!!
I can't say enough positive things about soulshine. There is something very special about this place. The owers energy, the food, the magic of nature(monkeys, iguanas, hummingbirds, butterflies, ect.), the confort of the rooms, and so much more. Ive stayed there twice in the past year post Ayahuasca ceremonys and find the right balance of peace and connection. This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.
