"Very convenient location for the main station. More a business hotel than a tourist hotel. Only one lift servicing the 32 nd floor reception for some of our stay - not acceptable.
Hotel public areas often very busy with business conferences/meetings.
Little sense of service - everything had a price tag associated with it."
"What amazing people work at the Mercure Hotel in Lyon, France. My husband and I stayed there while traveling, and during our trip we were carrying 300 euros between us. I kept 100 euros in large bills separate from another 50 euros in small bills for tips. At some point, I realized the larger bills were missing, but I had no idea where or when I had lost them, so I just let my husband handle the tipping afterward.
Soon after we returned home, I received an email from Expedia saying I had a credit of $132 from the Mercure Hotel in Lyon, with no explanation. Then it suddenly hit me — it must have been the 100 euros I accidentally left behind in our hotel room.
I was truly touched by the honesty and kindness of the hotel staff. In today’s world, this level of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you for making our stay not only comfortable, but also memorable for all the right reasons."
"Best breakfast buffet we've ever had. Nice hotel. Enjoyed our stay. If your driving though finding the parking structure is very confusing. And you cant pull up in front of the hotel to unload. Good location if your taking the train. Station is right next door"
