10/10 Excellent
"This is one of our favorite places to stay and we were so pleased with everything once again!
We were comfortable, relaxed and welcomed like we were best friends!"
" In the lobby , it wasn’t family friendly. There were some people in the lobby playing pool, not properly and more people came in from their group. They smelled of pot and a lot of swearing. They were there for hours and we were hoping to be able to play some board games and play pool but we were not able to because of the large group of inconsiderate people.
The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion were very lovely. If we were to come back I wouldn’t want to be on the 3rd floor, it sounded like someone was stomping above us all night long. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. "

6/10 Okay
"The staff couldn’t seem to be bothered. The pool was out for weeks and a busload of kids were checking in. No one was told that the pool was out prior to booking the rooms. The breakfast spread was gone by 9 although they didn’t end breakfast until 10. The hotel was full of kids who didn’t get anything. I went to the front desk, she told me to find the breakfast person who was no where to be found. I had to go into a back room to find the staff member on her phone. I said the coffee and creamer was out as well as the food. She said that breakfast stuff takes to long to cook so there wouldn’t be any more food placed out there. I said you have a room full of teenagers waiting for breakfast, she shrugged her shoulders. I wasn’t even with the kids. Poor management. I wouldn’t go back when there are many other "
"Items in the room were damaged and very worn. we paid extra for a pool side room. I didn't know the pool was used for kids parties. The screaming didn't stop. The pool doesn't close until 10 pm. The smell of chlorine was overwhelming. The food at the restaurant was terrible, the service was great. The final straw was the adjoining room fight and someone threatening to stab another person. We left and went to another hotel. There were no other rooms to move to. The hotel did not refund and the additional insurance I paid for wouldn't refund due to my "high standards""
"Stores and restaurants were nearby. Room was clean. Staff upgraded my room to 2 beds, instead of 1 king size bed for no extra charge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work. Thank you."
"Stay was ok. Nothing special. Decent pricing compared to nearby locations for a spur of the moment stay. Place was clean. Seemed like staff was under stocked for stays as we couldn't get any more blankets or pillows, and the kitchen staff was pretty rude. Parking garage was a little confusing and it smelled of weed everywhere."
"Only thing I would complain about is the breakfast. Had a big event at Van Andel Arena the night before and a ton of people stayed here to. The event lasted longer than most people stay up and so we were all sluggish in the morning and didn’t make it to breakfast until 9, breakfast was until 930. Well at 9am, they only had eggs, 2 sausage patties anda few muffin sandwiches. Never refilled anything. I get it’s close to breakfast ending but there was at least 50 people I seen come down from 9-920 to get breakfast!!"
