"I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was spacious and clean. It's in a good location for highway access. The staff were pretty accommodating. My only complaints are that the bed wasn't really comfy (I have back issues) and you have to pay for usable internet (you have to sign up for the reward program for the "free" internet and then it doesn't work at all - wish I would've known that before I had to do work there). Overall, it was worth the price. "
"This hotel is utilized by folks as extended stay so some of the folks staying there are living there full time. The rooms are suites with full size refrigerators and kitchens. The bed was only a full - thought we'd be getting a king. The pillows provided were lumpy messes. The towels were thin and rough. The place charges extra for housekeeping or for additional towels. No complimentary breakfast or coffee. No Ice machines.
However, the staff who was working the night we were there was very nice and helpful. My partner had sprained his ankle, and she provided us with extra towels without charging and another pillow so he could prop it up. She offered her own ice pack when I mentioned going out to get ice (as there are no ice machines in the hotel). I did not take her up on it, but it was very kind of her to offer. Overall the hotel left much to be desired, but the staff was good. Hotels are expensive in Grand Rapids, so for one night it was fine, but I probably wouldn't stay here again."
