"Most disgusting place I have ever seen in my life mould on roof in shower just felt dirty took photos & sent never got updates on or if I needed fresh towels no body wash I can go on put it this way I was booked in to stay for 12-13 days I only stayed 2 I went to Saigon palace "
"It took us a few times to get a hold of the host to get the key cards and access to the apartment on the day we checked in. We tried to contact them a day in advance of our check-in as Expedia suggested and there was no response. The apartment also looked different from the online photos drastically. There was no TV in the bedroom. The mattress was thin and uncomfy. Missing piece on the wall and baseboard in the bedroom. Stains on the couch were covered by a dirty black throw. The water in one bathroom sink did not go down well and the other bathroom sink did not work on the 4th day. No housekeeping on the 4th day. We sent msgs and called the host/agent number many times and there was no response. I had to contact Expedia two times and Expedia could not get a response from the host the first time. The second time the host said they would contact me and resolve the issues. But they did not. The two sinks were fixed on the 7th day and the bedsheets were changed and the trash was taken out on the 7th day. No bath mats and only one small cup in the cupboard. No communication about what we needed to do and how on the day we checked out. We contacted the host again and there was no response. An agent we tried to contact let us know we could leave the key cards on the table. In all, I paid for the superior apartment (not traditional one which is cheaper) and it is not as nice as it looked. Most importantly, communication from the host was very poor. Not good experience as expected."
"We greatly enjoyed staying g at Vinhpearl Landmark 81. It is in an excellent spot for shopping and enjoying the riverside park. There is a Metro station close by, though it’s a bit of an adventure walking on the street to get there. I would highly recommend it for both the atmosphere and the breakfast buffet featuring both traditional Vietnamese and Western choices"
"DON’T FALL FOR THE PICTURES! This listing is a complete bait and switch. The photos they share on their listing do not match the property. This listing is for “Vinhomes”, the condo/apartments neighboring Landmark 81, not the actual Landmark itself.
The unit my family and I booked was for a 3 bedroom(for 3 weeks), and when we first arrived they assigned us to a very dirty unkept 2 bedroom. Due to the inconvenience, they promised to give us 20% back on our deposit, which they never returned.
During our 3 week stay, they only reached out once to see if we needed a room cleaning. We washed our own towels, took out our own trash(daily), because bugs easily find their way in, and even saw a mouse in the shower.
The pool is outdoor and none of the amenities were communicated on how to access.
The surrounding area is a good neighborhood to be in for Ho Chi Minh and safe to be around. But don’t be scammed into booking this property for what they offer at the price they do. "
"We never got to checked in with the hotel for the 3 weeks we stayed in Ho Chi Minh City. The whole thing was a scam. I have called Expedia several times asking for help, and nobody has been able to help us. Thank goodness for my cousin who got us a place to stay, because I can’t afford to pay another hotel. I’m very disappointed with Expedia staff. That was ours first time booking a vacation through Expedia, the flights were excellent but hotel are terrible never again we want to put ourselves into that position again. I didn’t want to deal with all the stress and didn’t want anyone to messed up ours vacation so I was just left it alone."
