D'win Hotel
8/10 Good
"lively quarter in the marais - close to metro and many Paris attractions - helpful staff (we got into our room 2 hours early) - continental breakfast a bit expensive, but great croissants!
only drawback = no elevator, and our room was on the 4th floor! - only window was a skylight"
"Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We stayed for 8 nights and with kids. Area is very safe and good for large family. Staff are friendly. Every night they gave us different little surprises (chocolate, cookies, eye packs, serum, hand cream…) food from the restaurant and room service were very good. "
"I was in Paris traveling solo, and while I have been here many time, this was my first time staying near Bastille. The staff were all kind and helpful. The hotel is well situated near the Bastille metro, which is served by several useful lines around the city.
My room was clean and quiet but *really*small, and it would have been useful to have been told that you must insert your key card into a slot near the door in order to turn on any lights!
My one complaint was that there was one afternoon/evening when the only elevator was broken and I had to walk up six long and winding flights of stairs. Fortunately I am not elderly, have mobility issues, or wrestling with luggage at that time, as it would have been impossible to get to my room! In addition, there always seemed to be work being done, with alarm testing and construction. They were great about calling each guest to warn them about the alarm testing, but I had to squeeze around ladders, etc.

"Simple but adequate room: you get what you pay for.
But first night a ceiling water leak near the toilet. Dripping every 5 seconds, audible even through the closed door (and you hear the neighbors snore). Reported it in the morning. Passed by during the day and asked if it was fixed: confirmed: returned at 10pm: nothing done, leak still dripping: complained to the front desk :Reply "Not my problem, I am not going to apologize for it, fully booked nothing can be done: want free breakfast to get you out off your bad mood?" What kind of customer service is that. The next day it was fixed but they still denied it ever happened. "
"Solid, well-priced room.
This hotel earns all 3 of its stars well and is a well-located, affordable option for Paris girls trip.
The one thing to know in advance is that the room is very small, so be sure you’re close with you wherever you are traveling with!
Otherwise - I would recommend! Helpful staff, excellent location, and clean! "
"Can’t say enough good things about our stay at the hotel de jobo . The staff was incredible and so attentive to our every need . I loved the location as well and the decor ! "
