"Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was exceptional with answering questions of dinner recommendations. They also assisted with booking a car for the airport. Then a car to cruisport. I would recommend this property. Rooftop pool is nice with beautiful views. "
"we had a wonderful stay. We booked the suite with the private pool which we loved. We spent a lot of time around that pool. The hotel is super charming contantly cleaned and very welcoming. everyone was nice but Andrew and Katherine went out of their way for us every day. Recommended"
"I recently stayed at Charleston Santa Teresa in Cartagena. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with charming design and a wonderful atmosphere. The rooftop views are breathtaking and a real highlight of the property. Breakfast was also excellent—there was a delicious variety of dishes, fresh breads, and fruits that made each morning a pleasure.
Unfortunately, my experience with the room situation was disappointing. My room was extremely noisy due to a disco located next door. When I asked the staff member Paola if I could move rooms, I was told there were no rooms available. However, about three hours later, after I contacted Expedia for assistance, Fernando was able to find another room for me. Because of this delay, I ended up having to pack all of my things and move rooms at midnight.
While the hotel is lovely, if you are looking for a quiet and restful stay, this particular area may not be ideal because of the nightlife nearby. Visitors who prefer a calmer environment might consider staying closer to the beach in Bocagrande instead.
Overall, the property itself is beautiful and the food and views are fantastic, but the noise and the way the room change was initially handled made the stay less comfortable than it could have been.
