"2nd stay within 12 months. Usual friendly and helpful staff. Nothing a problem and keen to ensure comfortable stay. Stayed room 11 which was a family room. I didn't need this so check what you book as I had ticked the wrong room. Room clean and ideal for a family with a couple of children. Was very hot in night. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Great location and worth a visit."

"I've stayed at a lot of hotels, the Crowne Plaza at Sheffield has offered the best service i have ever experienced. Not only was Nicky hospitable and a great host, she helped the family with the luggage from the car to the room, offered us a bigger room because we had children and was very hospitable with our children. Nicky went out of her way to ensure we were happy and settled, at one point, she arranged for some medication to be collected from the pharmacy for my child.
I also witnessed her...

"Friendly welcome from the host, and some good advice where to eat/ drink/ walk etc. Really enjoyed the relaxing breakfast with nice rustic touches and a nice tea pot etc. Sausages were amazing

"Whilst the bedrooms are somewhat dated and needing a little tlc, the staff more than make up for this. We travelled with our dog and this hotel is genuinely dog friendly (not just dog tolerant as some hotels turn out to be). The staff really could not do enough with everyone helpful, cheerful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and breakfast and dinner excellent. Parking was no problem and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. The staff really do go the extra mile. "
