However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"

"Great stay, we were visiting family in Ayr and needed a dog friendly place to stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean with no skimping on the teas/coffees/milks!
Breakfast was lovely, continental buffet followed by a la carte cooked, also a sausage in a bowl nicely chopped for our dog. Would definitely stay again."

"Stayed for one night and it was really lovely! Couldn't fault our stay, the owners were lovely, friendly and very chatty! Made us feel so welcome! Room was spacious, clean and modern, the bath in the room is amazing! We had a meal here too and was some of the best food we've had in a long time, had the steak pie and there wasnt a bit of fat in it, all amazing cuts of beef, pie crust was nice and buttery, veg was cooked to perfection! My partner had the Chicken Balmoral which was just as amazing...
