Liguria

Liguria is a crescent-shaped region in northern Italy, close to the French border. The famous village of Cinque Terre one of its main draws, along with the towns of Portofino and Rapallo. The capital city of Genoa is a fascinating city that was once home to a powerful maritime republic.

The local food in Liguria is just as noteworthy as the coastal views and you’ll find plenty of options to combine the 2 at charming al fresco restaurants. If you head inland, you’ll find excellent hiking at the Antola Natural Regional Park.
