KidZania Kuala Lumpur is an edutainment center designed to prepare children for the workplace. Resembling a mini-city with child-sized replicas of office buildings and cars, children can take turns ‘working’ in over 90 different types of jobs, including pretending to be a surgeon, pilot, secret agent, lawyer, news anchor, and firefighter.

In the simulated News Straits Times Press office, children are given the task of roaming the ‘city’ to find news to write and publish or deliver copies of the paper around the city or collect them for recycling. The i-City Theme Park, also known as the City of Digital Lights, is an amusement park in Shah Alam. It is best known for hosting a nightly display of colourful LED-lit attractions. Visitors can also enjoy a range of exciting and family-friendly activities, such as a waterpark, 3D museum, and snow park.

One of i-City Theme Park’s major highlights is a ‘forest’ of artificial maple and pine trees with branches illuminated with LED lights. The park also has a massive Ferris wheel, a 2-tiered carousel, carnivalesque game booths, and snack stalls. District 21 is an adventure park located within IOI City Mall Putrajaya. It is a great place for visitors of all ages to enjoy a variety of challenging obstacle courses. The 6,500-sq-meter complex features a post-apocalyptic setting with plenty of metal beams, steel walls, and colourful graffiti, as well as suspended ropes, chains, and platforms.

Upon entry, visitors first pass through a 2-step decontamination chamber, where they are provided with protective gloves and non-slip socks (shoes are not permitted for certain rides). The staff members brief visitors on the theme park’s rules and safety precautions. Fitted with LED-lit climbing walls, high-speed slides, trampolines, and aerial obstacle courses, District 21 in Kuala Lumpur has 11 attractions with varying difficulty levels.
