What an amazing stay — the name says it all: Kuelber B&B. The historical atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, and Mrs. Margy and her son Darrell were so polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the whole experience felt peaceful and special. I honestly cannot wait to go back. Next time, I’ll be booking the School House and bringing my family so they can enjoy it too.

Incredible stay with Margy (mom) and Darrell (her son)! We loved the schoolhouse that she purchased for $1,600 at auction and had moved 15 miles to their property! The main house was built in 1847 just two years after New Braunfels became a city! We loved the free wine, beer, and ice cream at the main house with unlimited access at all hours. The breakfast was a great offering with plenty of time to make strangers into friends!

The owners were warm and friendly and made us feel like family especially when we were all sitting down to breakfast together. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful! We loved the whole atmosphere and the grounds were peaceful, a pleasant getaway from the city. If you like history and going back in time, the Kuebler Waldrip Haus is the place to go!

The owner is so seeet such a nice little lady and her son. The house was clean but is an old house to its not modern. It def gave me my grandmas house vibes, whoch we absolutely loved! Its alsoin a great location just 3 miles or so from Gruene Hall. Breakfast was nice and fun to hear about how this place came about. Appreciate the kindness and the friends we made.

The owner greeted us and gave us the background of the B&B. She is so sweet and genuine. Our room in the old schoolhouse was spotless and very comfortable. The morning breakfasts were the best.

The property is minutes away from downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. We loved going into town to shop and eat, and then retreating to the solitude of this lovely place. Our hosts, Margie and Darrell, are warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are divine! We highly recommend this B&B—it's the best in Texas!
