Overbooks Room

They/ Hotels.com overbooked us! We had to search the area for another room and of course we were forced into overpaying at the last minute, 25 miles further away. The innkeeper did help us find a room, but I didn’t need the stress.

Inoubliable !!!

Nous avons fait une très belle rencontre avec Fred et Bert qui sont des hôtes charmants, agréables et très intéressants. Leur maison est magnifique remplie d’objets insolites. Nous avons adoré notre séjour d’autant plus que nos hôtes ont fait l’effort de parler français et nous ont offert un petit déjeuner « royal ». This is a very unique, comfortable, personal and friendly place to stay. You truly feel like you are staying at your best friend’s home. Every detail and comfort was offered and considered, and the hosts were so welcoming and personable. The property was very quiet and relaxing and their three little french bulldogs were an absolute delight. The breakfast was above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves unique historic places, wonderful hosts, and quiet relaxation. A return visit is a definite plan!

St Stephen’s hidden gem!

Loved it! The decor reflects years of planning; creating a unique and comfortable home to welcome guests. The hosts are charming and interesting, even to inviting us to a local theatre production the next day. Breakfast was perfect with a selection of homemade jams, jellies and preserves, all artfully presented.

Very welcoming. Quiet room. Breakfast was a generous selection of foods and beautifully prepared. The accommodations were decorated with lovely antiques. The bathroom was clean and quiet. The shower was amazing with really good water pressure. Hosts were delightful! Highly recommend

Out of the ordinary. Loved the way that each room was crammed with antiques. Not a great place for kids, but we loved the way that every inch of floor space was filled with interesting items and antiques. Truly a throwback to Victorian times. Hosts were friendly and engaging and the breakfast was sumptuous -- can't think of a better word for the feast.

This is a true Bed and BREAKFAST. So many B&B’s these days offer mediocre breakfast at best. The Coach House had an amazing breakfast! The house has excellent architecture and wonderful hosts. St. Stephen’s has a lovely walking area along the river. We will return on a future trip to Canada!

Awesome breakfast. Friendly hosts made our stay extremely enjoyable. Owners have 3 very cute (and sweet) french bulldogs that joined us for breakfast each morning. Highly recommend this b&b if you're open to something different and quaint.
