The whole resort was surprisingly clean and appeared to be a newer building. Those that appeared to be an extended stay were polite and quiet in the evening..

Upon arriving the room 306 was not on great condition the room had mold on the walls next to the bathroom. The toilet didnt have any water nor was the television working. I informed front desk Donna and i was moved to room 218 which was worst from all the upstairs guest loud noise of stomping jumping baming and loud music. I also informed front dest Donna multiple times and ask her multiple times to come to my room to hear it for her self which she did come after ibhad to ask again. I requested another room on a higher floor which she stated she had no rooms and nothing could be done due to the general manager of the propery being on vactoon returing on Monday June 2 2025. I requested anouther stay nit a refund. I never once had any prior complaints about this property i love this location always a great experience. Im very disappointed which my issue wasn't taken care as promise by front desk agent Donna who was working nor did she email the general manager with my complaint and request for another night credit. I had to speak with Myla which she did contact her and emailed the general manager and contacted himnper my request. I was not treat kind not was my issue resloved nor taking seriously per staff. Also the condition of room 306 was not noted nor removed from being check into by another guest until i informed Myla about my experience. All im requesting is to be treated fairly and due to the lacknof sleep and loud noise i just wanted to be compensated with another stay.

Will never stay there again! On arrival there was no one at the front desk. A sign was left for you to call someone. There are people just lingering around the hotel as if its some sort of "turf" to hang out. It has people that seem to permanently LIVE at this hotel as its a shelter. Cleaning service for the 4 days I was there was only available the first day. You had to pick up your own extra towels if u needed. There were kids banging and running around on the floor above our room, which goes to people living there. There were kids in school clothes down the hall with laundry baskets and people with big dogs moving through the halls. Im sorry but I won't be back. Not the hotel the interner mad it out to be. False advertisement!

As others have said, the property was not bad. Location is great. Generally clean, although there was hair in the shower, which I believe was from the maids. Quiet and well-behaved guests. I felt safe. Ample parking. HOWEVER: the water pressure in the shower was a JOKE. Water conservation is important, but the shower was a strong trickle at best. I cannot imagine how anyone stays there longer than a few days. Also, the ONE ice machine was broken. Rooms have kitchenettes, but offer no plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, nor utensils. NOTHING. Be prepared to buy or bring your own. Still, the price cannot be beat. Very competitive. One last thing: the room rate when you call the property and book on the phone is less than the hotels.com rate. I feel a bit ripped off. I learned that once I checked-in, so it was too late. If I return to the Tampa area, I will splurge for a higher star chain hotel. Having a decent shower water pressure and a working ice machine are worth it.

Absolutely horrible experience! Got to our room and all the furniture was pulled out and outlet covers off the outlets. Apparently they sprayed for bugs and never put the room back together. Then wanted me to wait in the lobby well past my check in time for a room. So I asked for a full refund. The management and staff were extremely rude especially the manger, HORRIBLE customer service!

Hotel is in nice location. It does not offer breakfast but does have a gym! The rooms are a decent size, just a bit out dated. The first night I had to kill a roach in my bathroom and the second day I got back, my room was not cleaned. I guess ever since COVID you have to ask for room cleaning however that wasn’t told to me when checking in. Front desk associates were very friendly

My husband and I were traveling for work and liked the idea of the suite. We were surprised at how nice it was for the affordable price. The hotel is clean throughout, including the rooms. The kitchenette is perfect for making small meals for the week. Nice work desk and dinette to eat at. We ended up extending our stay for our continued work assignments, and recommended to others traveling with us. 100% will return if in the area.

I had an excellent experience at uptown. I appreciated the " smoke free environment. My room was super clean, accept on the bathroom, the bottom of the shower floor railing showed an incompletion of paint to finish the bathroom; which exposed "rust. Had I almost seen that, I would have never known that this hotel had a renovation.

The room had floorboards that were peeling up and smelled like animal piss. The housekeeping didn't come by every day, only once a week and so we never had housekeeping for our stay. The elevator was shutting off every night at around 12 am like clock work so we had to take the stairs often which also smelled like pee. The room also had no pots or pans and the fire alarm went off randomly one morning but there was no update on whether or not we needed to evacuate or not. No one checked in on us either.

We had to cut our stay 1 day earlier, we couldn’t stand killing roaches every day, the toilette didn’t refill so we had to do it manually, comforter stained, people smoking weed, dirty outside, rusty shower, water fountains in the Gym doesn’t work. It’s just a place to avoid. It’s a shame, since seems that they invested quite a bit in the renovation, but the maintenance and management of the property is a disaster.

Had to climb floor flights of stairs, two days in a row with bags in my handbecause the elevator always seem to be out after 11 PM. The rolling chair at the desk was upholstered and stained like someone had an accident in it. The arms were dirty. The whole chair was filthy and was unable to be replaced.
