The room wasn’t as clean as it was the last time I stayed. When we moved a chair, we found a used bandage with gauze underneath. There was makeup smeared on the bathroom light switch. The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It would run continuously until we realized we had to shut it off. I believe that the thermostat was faulty. Also, we couldn’t use the room phone to call the lobby desk. One of the mattresses was lumpy and uncomfortable. Since we were only there for 2 nights, we put up with everything. The staff was very friendly. There isn’t much of a kitchen. There was a keurig, tea bags, coffee pods and bottled water. Instead of a mini fridge, we had a cooler that was supposed to keep the temperature at 40 degrees but it didn’t. We put bags of ice in the cooler to keep our water cool. Also, their food and drink items are grossly overpriced. Needless to say, I don’t recommend using this hotel.

The staff was wonderful! The electrical outlets between the beds did not work...had to have maintenance come by but still didn't get them to work. He did bring me an extension cord which helped. The shower head was terrible...not enough spraying down...it went all over. Room was too warm for me and couldn't get it cool enough. Not enough seating for cruise days.

Took us over 1 hour to get bedding for the pull out couch…after 3 calls, we finally received them. The shower had no door, so showers were cold. The room was freezing when we got there and took several hours to get cooled down.

My partner and I were really excited to spend a romantic getaway at the B Resort. We upgraded our room to an ocean view before arriving which we got, but then found out the pool would be closed all weekend for a wedding and were so disappointed. We were told it had been on the website but we hadn’t seen anything about it when we booked months prior. In addition, our room had no hot water, house keeping only came one of the four days we stayed there (and at 8am), we paid a $50 resort fee per day however there were no beach towels (even though the pool was closed!), no access to pool, had to give up our beach chairs at 5pm each day, and felt like we spent a lot of money for a very average experience. Only breakfast options were the Starbucks, drinks were expensive, and when we called for a late checkout (and to ask for housekeeping each day) no one answered the phone. We spoke to several other guests during our stay who also had disappointing experiences, some of which who had rooms that flooded, and were DOWNGRADED. We had ask them to lock up our bags since we didn’t get a late checkout and the staff got locked out of the room where they store the bags, and we waited twenty minutes while security used a wire hanger to open the door. We complained to guest management at the end of our stay and only got reimbursed for the resort fee. We had had such high hopes but have no plans to return to the B resort next time we are in Fort Lauderdale.

We got in at 230pm was told the room was not ready and I’d receive a call when ready, by 6pm we went to check the status and was told they forgot to call and the room “been” ready, NOW the room!!!! We weren’t given directions on how to get to the room, another guest helped us through the maze to find our room! There in one lamp no additional WORKING lightning, the toilet was extremely loose and wobbled when in use, the stand up shower turned into a tub being the water took 30mins or more to drain, no towel hooks in the bathroom. The iron shot out sand al over my clothes , water NEVER hot . …Staff was very nice and professional, the beach area is nice. The burger at the bar was very good.

Yes ocean view room was cleaned every day pool and bar was fantastic beach was great they groom it every morning with tractor the sand bar down by beach was fantastic as for bar tender Kalu and bar back Darnell also place on beach got towels and chairs those guys there worked really hard maintaining everything also talked to two of hotel managers out by pool and ocean they were really nice and one other shout out to bar at pool Jewel and other bartenders great job would highly recommend B Ocean and when back in area will stay there 😎👍🏖️

No ocean view but beach is easily accessible. Only issue is that the room didn’t get attention daily. Was here 3 days and had to request the bed be changed.

Stay was okay, the hotel definitely looks worn and needs to be updated. I felt the amount I paid was more than the hotel should be charging, however you are right on the ocean and a main street in front of the hotel had lots of places to checkout. I also felt the restaurants on site were pretty high.

Our room was very comfortable, the view was excellent off the balcony of the beach and ocean. our floors icemaker did not work for the duration of our stay five days, not even a sign out of order. Our batteries became low in our thermostat so I went to the front desk to pick up some batteries and they told me somebody would bring them up , two days later no batteries. Another odd thing was our room Telephone did not work however after three days, it suddenly worked again not sure if it was a line thing or the phone itself. Overall, the stay was nice. The pool area was nice, both pools.

The staff was amazing! We arrived super early after debarking our cruise and since it was too early for check in they were nice enough to guard our luggage and gave us bracelets to enjoy the amenities the pool and the beach were great we had a great time relaxing we had some food and drinks at the bar and enjoyed with our kids. Definitely recommend this hotel !

Great stay! Will stay there again! Only slight issue was electric outlets weren’t working so hard to charge phones, etc. However, the the resort is great. Wonderful amenities! Great location!!! Loved the Starbucks there. Nice pooi!

I could see the ocean sideways thru my window. Hotel nice and clean, staff great, beach excellent. My only complaint--not enough bright light in the bedroom.
