This was our first day in New York City. The hotel looked beautiful online, but was just as beautiful in person. We felt comfortable and safe the entire stay. The breakfast buffet was good, and it was convenient to have the market in the building.

It was very nice. I was a bit disappointed with no coffee offered in the rooms. I was also disappointed that a complementary breakfast was'nt offered. However, learned about the "club room" on floor 16. That was perfect. We were notified about that at check in.

The hotel is not worth what it is charging. Destination fee and $15/day spending account at the market place is a scam considering that u can buy the same items in the CVS nearby at a third the price.

It was a family trip for a very happy occasion. The location is great, being near Grand Central station was a treat. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfy. So the biggest negative to me was the water: inefficient type of flush toilets, and you had to wait a LONG time for the hot water to become hot, and the pressure was quite low. Still using small plastic bottles in the bathrooms. So environnentally friendly I could say check "not." But convenient and nice people.
