This was the worst stay I've ever had anywhere! I arrived about an hour prior to the 3:00 check-in and requested a possible early check-in explaining I just drove almost 4 hrs for a job interview and would be so appreciative to be able to spruce up some beforehand. I was told my room was not ready, still needed to be cleaned. Finally, at 3:07pm, I was told I could check-in. When I got to my room, I was absolutely disgusted! It was obvious this room had not been cleaned, not on that day or any day prior! There was black mold in the toilet bowl, obvious dust and dirt throughout the room, clearly had not been swept or vacuumed, water damage in the walls, only given one towel which was crumpled up and thrown in the dirty cupboard in the bathroom, and I had paid for a room with a microwave and fridge..which i did not have in the room. My guest and I were harrassed by the front desk clerk, Keke, and who I assume was her boyfriend/husband, about not smoking in the hotel numerous times even after watching us go outside to do so multiple times. There was no vending and when I asked where the ice machine was, Keke brought me half a bag of ice from the back room, which I felt was contradictory to their COVID-19 prevention measures, and honestly just ridiculous! I was treated as though I wasn't welcome, watched like a hawk, and felt as though I could not voice my concerns with the room for fear of the reaction I may have gotten from Keke and her "friend" at the front desk. Severely upset
