Excellent renovated vintage motel

Excellent stay in this renovated vintage motel. Colonial style with rocking chairs under the porch, vintage bed cover with a mix of new furnitures and antiques. Full of charm and great stay.

Excellent Place

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Bed and pillows were awesome. Slept like a rock. I've stayed in many of the higher priced B&Bs in the area and prefer this place by far. Décor is quaint and quirky. Shower was excellent....and we stayed in the lowest tier room. Staff was very patient, kind and helpful. Only stayed one night but will certainly be back for a longer stay. Oh, and the farm fresh eggs are a great deal too.... real hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised.

Cozy, clean, safe, convenient, friendly

I stayed here for a night while exploring nearby reservoirs, lakes, and hiking trails. The room was clean and comfortable, easy parking, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning sunlight drinking my coffee. Helpful, friendly staff. Several food options in Grand Gorge itself, or in nearby towns within a ten minute drive. In-room microwave and fridge make dining more flexible.

Gem of a place in Grand Gorge

This is a gem of a place in the tiny village of Grand Gorge! It was easy to find and a very good value. I especially appreciated the great customer service we got. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They care about their property and the people staying there very much. Highly recommend if you are in the Catskills! I would also recommend Pizza Plus just down the block if you are looking for a good, filling lunch or dinner that doesn't cost a fortune.

Great stay!

Heat could not be controlled, but it never got uncomfortably cold. Otherwise, everything was great, especially the people who work there. Ps: the veggie pizza at the place on the corner is really excellent!

Super clean, accessible parking right to your door, very cozy and overall great experience! Needed a place to stay for the night as we were coming from NJ to go skiing. Great distance from the mountain and super convenient. The owner was very accommodating and Jack the cat was the star of the show! Not to mention the price was exceptional! 10/10 experience and will definitely stay here again in the future if I’m ever in the area.

The property is quite old and hence the room infra and amenities are also quite dated. The motel is run by a family and not by an institution, so don't be surprised to find non standard stuff in your room, old house hold items, etc. Stayed there for 2 night with friends while on skiing trip. It is around 40 mins from all ski resorts nearby hence relatively low price compared to others. The room are big, have amenities(ignore condition) and are clean enough. Overall fine for crashing at night.
