Disappointed that we were sent over to the pub after visiting the main building and looking forward to seeing our room. Room in old pub was quiet and had everything we needed although desktop fan was very dusty. Bed very comfy , shower very powerful. Pub very empty so no ambiance and the music was terrible so didn’t stay for long. Spa was perfect but missed out on the mud rasul room which wasn’t mentioned within the £50 we paid for 2. Staff all very accommodating although on checking out the lady was sat on her phone which wasn’t very professional. Made slight comment on welcome day about us eating out at The Farmers Dog which wasn’t needed. Over all would recommend as stunning location and pleasant stay just ask for room in main building.

The location was amazing however we felt the price was a little high for what you got. Having to pay an extra £25 per person per day to have access to the spa facilities, at a spa hotel is rediculous to be honest. And having to pay an extra £10 per person per day for a breakfast upgrade also felt a bit unfair, that being said the breakfast was 5* as nice as our stay was I’m not sure we would come back however I would recommend a visit

I was staying Across The Road in another part of the hotel the pub side no one showed me to my room and I spent 25 minutes looking for it when I finally arrived. It was cold and the bed was not that comfy.

The reception staff were not very informative or professional. The communal areas, corridors etc were tired and tun down, washing bags left outside for long periods of time etc. The spa was very relaxing but very expensive compared to other spas. Overall it was an ok stay but wouldn't I return, perhaps not as think I could get more value for money elsewhere in the area

The room was spotless. No bar in the hotel but so we went over to the old Swan. The electric kept tripping which sent plumes of smoke from the fire into the pub. We were glad we didn’t order food as I don’t think we would have got it with the kitchen electrics going down. Lovely setting and grounds. The staff were lovely.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming and the food was amazing. The bedding and towels were lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tired and although an overhead shower was provided there was no shower curtain which made it impossible to take a normal shower. We felt the room was generally tired looking and not as clean as it could have been.
