The front desk staff and the room was good except there were used towels thrown in the drawer of the bathroom vanity. The breakfast was OK but tables weren’t being wiped and there were 4 tables dirty when we arrived for breakfast so I got some napkins and wiped one so we could sit at it, no staff around. Another lady knocked on the door to the kitchen to ask staff to refill the coffee, this happed both days we were there. Customers then asked for plates as there were no plates on the counter for customers to use. We won’t be staying here again.

We use this hotel because of its location to our family in Pittsburgh. We have stayed at this facility for many years and find that the breakfast buffet which we use to give rave reviews is now mediocre at best. Our room was clean, and the staff are doing a better job at keeping the entrances clean and picked up.

We went into the room and nothing was plugged in, the room phone didn't work, there were no extra pillows or blankets in the closet and the chair in the room was stained and dirty -we did not even want to sit in it. This was the second Comfort Inn and Suites we stayed on this trip and I was extremely disappointed in both.

The workers were kind and attentive, but the rooms were filthy. It's clear that they don't bother to wash the comforters. Somehow, there were what appeared to be spots of pasta sauce in multiple rooms. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. Some towels had obvious stains that were folded over. Hard to say why things were so dirty when I could see the cleaners washing things in the laundry room. Rooms that were not being checked out of were not touched during the stay. Lobby was clean, I guess to hide the filth of the rest.

My disappointment isn't as much with the facility as it is with those in charge. We arrived late at night in the middle of an area wide power outage. They had emergency lights in the halls, but no power in the rooms. They were housing many of the power crews and the expectation was that we would have power back on in 1-2 days. That didn't happen and after 4 days we checked out. We were told that someone form management would call regarding some reconciliation on the rate being charged. That didn't happen. I finally called after 3 weeks. During that stay we had no power, no hot water, no maid service, no morning breakfast. Basically, a bed. There offer to us was a 20% reduction in the charges which also included a sizable upcharge for the weekend days. I am sure they have insurance that covered the lost revenue for that event. Their short sightedness in grabbing cash in lieu of customer care will result in me not staying at this, or any another associated hotel in our 3 to 4 trips a year to visit our son and his family.

I actually would like someone from hotels.com to reach out to me concerning this reservation. I contacted the live chat option through the app and it led me absolutely know where. They told me that the issue is going to be forwarded to a different department and someone would be emailing me which never happened. Clear across the country, my husband showed up there with my 7 year old daughter in the middle of the night only to find that there was absolutely no electricity and they have been out of electricity for 2 days! Which then put them on the street riding around trying to figure out what to do until I can figure out how to get it canceled and then book another room. I'm very upset and I definitely feel like something should be done to make up for this! After all, we do book a room every single weekend through this app! I mean you can look at the history and see! I don't know if you can offer a voucher for a free night somewhere or something but it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact that he drove from Texas to Pennsylvania just to find out that he had nowhere to stay with our daughter. Very upset! And shame on you Comfort Inn! How dare you not pass the memo along to people that are booking for you that you have no electricity!! Now it looks like a fault on their end as well! So don't worry hotels.com I know it was not just y'all however it definitely put us out! And my husband's name is Chris my name is liz. This is an account we share.

Though this hotel was supposed to have internet, there was no internet (except in the lobby). The refrigerator was filthy. The tub didn't drain. The room phone was unplugged, probably so guests couldn't call to complain. It was quiet, at least.

We choose this hotel for its location near our family. The staff is friendly, the entry ways and stairways usually need vacuuming.

Unfortunately, I cant give a good review about this hotel. I will say that the staff was friendly but the room was so dirty. I've been a cleaning lady for 25 years and started in housekeeping so I understand the job. Its hard work and you arent always given the time to be picky. This review is based on the basics. Our room smelled like Chinese Food and we actually found rice on the floor that confirmed that the people before us must have eaten it in the room (which means the carpet was never vacuumed before we checked in). I cleaned the bathroom before we used it because it was the worst I've ever seen in a hotel room. There was dried pee around the side of the tiolet and floor around it. The floor was so dirty and hadn't been cleaned for months. I know what that looks like....trust me. I washed up the floor by hand with some lysol wipes we had in the car and it was blacker then black. The only thing clean in the room was the sheets. If you are looking for friendly staff and clean sheets then this is your place. I never write bad reviews but I had to on this one. Luckily it was only one night so we just dealt with it.

I hate to give just one star, but our night was awful. A group came into the hotel (at 11:30pm per the desk clerk the next morning) and began to terrorize the hotel. There were two motor coaches of them. They were very drunk, very loud (shouting to each other down long, guest room hallways at midnight, 1am, 2am, 2:45am, and 4am. They were smoking marijuana, they reportedly stole from the hotel convenience snack area, and they tried to party in the hotel lobby overnight which is prohibited. My wife and I received very little of what was much needed sleep as we were in town caring for my hospitalized mother-in-law. I am giving one star to this clean, comfortable, well equipped, well placed, and affordable hotel for only one reason: the staff utterly failed to manage the situation. Given the group’s behavior and the fact that problems persisted throughout the entire night, the authorities should have been engaged to bring the situation under control. From my perspective, they dropped the ball this time. It was truly disappointing, and there was not even any type of consideration offered by way of compensation for our bad experience.
