The hotel has done a lot of renovations since I last stayed there las year. Room was cleaner furniture had been updated, and lamps had been updated. The clerk was the same man that was there last time I was there and just as friendly and accommodating as he was last trip. Had fresh fruit, oatmeal, and waffles for breakfast. When I got to the breakfast bar they were beginning to tear it down though. If you are needing a place to stay that is near UTMC That is easy go back and forth I highly recommend.

Major shoutout to the double Chris team members at Front Desk. Above and beyond!!!! A raise, lunch or both for them. The room had very minor things missing. But overall, the room was very clean and the linen smelled good. The Magnuson has been progressing in their remodeling. Awesome stay!!!

The price was very reasonable. The check in and check out process was very easy and quick. The hotel looks and feels old, but the rooms were very spacious and clean. The area around the hotel has several nice breakfast and dining options in a walkable distance. The Rose Garden, the Azalea district and other local attractions are just a 15 - 20 min drive (at the most) from this hotel. We enjoyed out stay.
