This was the perfect stay for our family before going on a cruise. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. We loved that there was a restaurant available and many other stores within walking distance. I didn't know about the free shuttle to the port before the trip, but this ending up being amazing. They let me pay to park the car there for the week and the shuttle picked us up when we got back. It made things so smooth. The restaurant was very slow and expensive, but everything else was amazing and the pool area was great to hang out. The workout area was nice to have as well.

My stay with my friend was disappointing and didn’t meet expectations. The property looked very different from the photos online, which were clearly taken by a professional to make it appear more appealing. In reality, the building was quite old, and the rooms felt dated. The pool was dirty and appeared poorly maintained. We were also locked out of our room at one point because the key cards stopped working due to a dead battery in the door lock. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I really liked this place. The rooms are not super classy - more like 70 s vibe ! But the service of all the employees was superb - super friendly and positive ! The hotel also have a free rode shuttle within 2 miles from hotell , so whatever you wanna go - how many times - within that area - they take you for free ! Very cool price. The room could have benefitted if an upgrade - but there was deffintly a charm staying this place ! But Tampa is to humid and warm - but that’s another story 😃

Everything was very clean. We got locked out of room twice. Something to do with bolt lock, but definitely wasn't nothing we did. I asked the house keeper if she could clean room. She said yes, but room was still in same condition we left it in.

I didn't plan too well..our flight got in earlier than check in was scheduled for but the front desk was very accommodating and got us in our room early...very clean and everyone was absolutely amazing...the daytime waitress was so sweet and even remembered me when we got back from the cruise and stayed the night before we flew back...great place!!

Not for odor sensitive souls.

If you are sensitive to odors, this is not your hotel. The facility needs to get rid of the old rugs to make the rooms healthier. The interior decoration is yellow with navy blue accents, like an Auto parts store. It's a great location but needs to be refreshed.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday and stay at the Barrymore hotel .Location is excellent for everything along the Tampa riverwalk and easy to access if driving from the 275 freeway.Rooms where slightly dated but very clean and very spacious and the Bed was really comfortable and also a big fridge and microwave in the room is a bonus which came in handy for us as we stayed for 11 nights .We had a room with a view overlooking the river which was amazing .The pool was very good but the pool area was adequate as a slight criticism would be to maybe have more sunbeds and individual parasols as they are all attached to tables which makes it awkward to lie on a sunbed under the shade and also to maybe open earlier as it didnt open until 10am.The staff at the Barrymore were all so friendly and so helpful as we had a few small issues at the start dealt with immediately with no problems .We would definitely recommend The Barrymore and we will definitely be returning the next time we visit Tampa

Stayed one night. Close to the airport. Room was fine. Had some trouble with figuring out the TV but finally got the channel I wanted. They have a shuttle to Ybor which is nice but when I called for a return ride they said it was going to take 30-40 minutes which was inconvenient. Overall, a good stay
