A/C Shenanigans

Their A/Cs automatically turn off when you're not in the room, and none of the common areas are air conditioned. It was deeply unpleasant to come back to the hotel hot and exhausted and not be able to get to sleep until the a/c had cooled the room down enough.

Took a little while to find a staff member to check in. Staff was friendly and had great service. When we found something wrong with our room, they came quickly to check it out and move us to a new room. Loved the welcome gift when we checked in.

Good for the money

It was great to have 3 real Queen beds. Bedding, towels and bathroom very clean. Floor appeared clean but left our feet dirty. Noise from outside present. Good it was summer; I could see daylight around the door. Lobby inviting. Neighborhood gritty.

Filthy

The room was not clean. Floors were so dirty we had to wear shoes or have black feet/socks. The microwave was not cleaned at all. We asked for a full service clean letting them know the problems with floor and microwave. Came back and they only made the beds replaced towels and took trash. Floors were still dirty and the microwave was not touched. Beds were much more fiem than I like. The front desk people were polite. The cleaning staff needs to be beyter trained

This was an okay place to stay. I was on the 4th floor right beside the door going into the elevators. The door apparently had a broken spring because anytime someone would go in and out the door would slam and made it for an interrupted couple nights of sleep. Service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk during check in were friendly and welcoming. I did not like how small the bathroom was and the fact that the sink was on the outside of the bathroom. Not sure if I would stay here again. Overall, it worked.

Horrible Experience

When I checked in another guest was mentioning that their floor was wet. When we opened the two doors to our room both were littered with bugs. There were dead and dying bugs throughout the room and bugs in cobwebs. We immediately went back to the lobby to cancel our weekend stay and were advised that since we checked in we would not be able to cancel and they would not offer any refund. We were offered another room but I was not confident that another room would be better when another guest had just been complaining about their room as well. I had booked two nights and the hotel kept every penny of my money for a room I never took a bag into. There is a difference in a few bugs entering a room from outside to having to step over an entrance littered with hundreds of dead bugs to get into a room.

There was random hairs around the kitchen and bathroom... The TV keeps going out... We went out and got food came back and our keys didn't work then there was no one at the front desk for about 10 minutes. But at least me and my family had a place to sleep. My daughter loved it and this trip was mainly for her.

The picture of the hotel were deceiving. The area wasn’t a safe area. Heard cop cars and ambulances all night. Tons of people hanging outside the hotel smoking marijuana and our kids were very scared. Awful experience.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Street noise was very loud, particularly police sirens on a Friday night. Also, the people staying a few doors down spent the evening and well into the night sitting outside on the walkway, talking loudly and smoking despite the “no smoking” policy and the “quiet hours after 10pm” policy. The smoke was filtering into our room and my 10 year son who is allergic to smoke was bothered by it so I called down to the desk. They sent someone up right away to ask the people to move to one of the smoking areas. They moved inside for about half an hour before coming back out, even louder than before and with even more smoke. By that point my son was asleep and eventually they went inside so I didn’t bother calling the desk again. Overall, not a great experience and I would not stay here again.

My husband and I stayed there for the night due to medical appointments in the city. The room was spotless and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful I just wish that they had a restaurant in the hotel.. otherwise we were very satisfied with our stay.
