The hotel looks impressive from the lobby - modern, updated, music playing. But once you hit the elevators that disappears. The rooms are small and dated, only two of the three elevators ran the entire 5 days we were there and both running elevators would randomly have the lights for other floors come on even though no one tapped the button. The pool on the roof is nice - towels are provided.
Parking was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. The parking garage the hotel uses is not only partially reserved by the local TV station but it’s also a public garage as well. There was no parking available when we arrived. It was coned off and we were handed a piece of paper with alternate locations (despite their own website warning us to not park off site). I had to walk in an unfamiliar city in the middle of the night by myself and leave my kids at the hotel so I could park my car 15 minutes away despite reserving a hotel that supposedly had parking.
That said, close walk to Franklin sites, Liberty Bell, US Mint, Franklin Square, and other great sites.
