I'd stay again for sure

This was my first time I've stayed in a conversation center hotel. I was impressed. It looked the same in the photos too. My room was bigger then I had expected expecally for the price. Over the weekend was a convention with the people attending parting till dawn I only knew this because I had to leave my room, it was that quiet in the room. All in all the staff was great the room very clean and it was a comfortable and quiet stay. I do however wish the bar was open and there were vending or some kinda late night munchie place on site.

Include Breakfast when making Reservations.

Accomodations were fine. I chose location because I am familiar with the area. Room for one was comfortable, very clean .. the two upholstered chairs were shabby and worn. Room I had was over rooftop ( with HVAC systems but noise was not a problem and I wasn't staying for a view. Staff friendly, easy check in and out. I was given a complimentary breakfast when I inquired because the area was clean, inviting and variety of breakfast items appealing. Highly recommend including breakfast in reservation!

Only stayed for a quick night. Check-in was easy and quick. Hotel seemed pretty clean all-around. Decor and couch in the room were a bit dated, but the carpet looked quite clean and the bedding looked fresh and was comfortable.

Great staff - mediocre hotel - crap portal

The hotel was slightly above average only because the staff I interacted with were all amazingly friendly, accommodating, knowledgable, and helpful. That's where the "qvove average" ends. Issues: 1) As Hotels.com usually does feom my experience - they screwed up the reservation. I was traveling with a friend, requiring two queen beds, and this is what I booked thru Hotels.com. When we arrived, the hotel said that there wer only "king" rooms. Thankfully they accommodated us but I slept on an uncomfortable sofa bed for a few nights. I heard there were 5 or more other pairs of friends who experienced the same issue. I am certain this was an expedia/hotels.com issue - not the hotel's. 2) We never had housekeeping enter the room (5 nights). 3) When trying to get service (ie sheets for the pull-out sofa bed) we called the front desk and the only option was to speak the request to an automated system, which (no surprise) did not deliver. After a few hours I had to go to the front desk to ask for sheets in-person. Quite poor - from a customer-service perspective, despite the stellar personal care from the staff & management - once we walked to the front desk. Overall - the place was tired, but for the price - it was satisfactory and the staff was very nice.

Overrun, under staffed…

No one answers the phones. We called multiple times on the way (because the last time we showed up close to midnight they had given our room away despite it being paid for). The air conditioner wouldn’t cool room regardless of how low the temp was set. The room smelled musty. The sheets and bedding were yellowing and just didn’t feel clean. There was no mini refrigerator or microwave, although many other rooms had them. When we did go down to the front desk, the poor guy working was so overwhelmed because he was the only one working in the counter and there were so many people needing him. We were ticketed for parking although no one ever told us we needed to register our car to park in there lots and we never had to on any trip here prior to this. They ticketed us at 11 PM right after we showed up and checked in. We registered our car right away once we knew that you had to register to park, but it would’ve been nice to know that upon check-in. We have to stay at this hotel a few times a year for a sporting event that takes place nearby and it just seems to get worse each time.

Past its prime

The hotel really needs updating. From the so-so mattresses to the worn carpeting in all the rooms, everything is so lackluster. It’s a convenient place for anything near Missouri State University but otherwise, I’d pick somewhere else to stay for the same money.
