Upon our arrival 7/19/25 to Hadley House, our AC was not working. We gave the room a few hours to cool. We realized it was not working we went to inform them. We were directed to use remote to turn up air for it to work. We tried & waited few more hours. It still didn’t work. By 9:15 pm, we finally went to the office and she showed us another room we could switch into but told us it had a ceiling leak repair. The room was extremely musky smelling and not in the same area as our 250+ pool side room we paid for. She told us to ask the person the next day to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom ocean front room.
I spoke to the manager on 7/20. She told us the AC was working and we were in by noon. The AC was not working & it remained between 77-78 the rest of our trip. It was extremely uncomfortable sleeping. I texted to inform of the AC issue.
There was also a HUGE cockroach.
On Monday 7/21/25; I went to return towels at 8:30 am. I was told to put them in the towel return and that we’d get towels delivered to our room. We left for the day & no towels when we returned. My husband went down to ask AGAIN for towels. He was told that the dryer was “acting up”. He went back AGAIN at 8pm and told her we still needed towels. She then got up to retrieve towels. I also gave them a “24 hour cleaning service notice” that we wanted our room cleaned for 7/21. No room service was completed.
This trip was very expensive and we’ve never had an experience like this.

Need an improvement in Cleanliness Guest Service.
We are truly looking forward our stay, but unfortunately we did not expect our expectations.The check in was okay.But the room was not properly maintained. Stain at a the sofa bed the room has unpleasant smells, bathroom smells,like that the air conditioning was not properly cleaned and maintained. The bed is uncomfortable.The breakfast area was dirty and whoever in that first morning shift was rude and totally unhelpful.What added to the frustration was the Hotel site falsed advertising. The Marina was full of seaweed and the pool was small.The fact of all the false things that’s was advertised .We expected a better service. I did paid money and stayed for 3 nights.I hope management take this survey seriously, as the improvement are clearly needed in both cleanliness and guest service.Unfortunately I won’t be returning or recommending this Hotel.

Gem in Islamorada
I love this place, it’s chill, dog friendly, ramp and docks for ease of throwing in my paddleboard. Insanely beautiful views, and central to everything.

Was very disappointed with the room cleanliness. The bedroom patio was not swept, bath tub was dirty, phone did not work.
Roach was in room, walked to front desk to have maintenance remove it, was told that he would not be available until 9am the following day. Therefore the desk agent had to remove it.
Rooms are not as described. Will not be staying there again.

Air conditiiningbdidntbwork and when i went to the frontvdesk the girl said there was no maintenance working the whole weekend and put down towels. Not her fault but surely someone should have been able tonfix it. It dripped all noght we left at 7am as we had enough

We had stay here more than 7 times. The location and ocean view at Hadley House Hotel were absolutely beautiful — easily the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of staff presence and responsiveness. At times, it felt like there was no one available at all to assist with even basic needs or concerns. For the price and potential of the property, the service was severely lacking. With better management and attention to guest support, this could be a great spot — but I wouldn’t return until those issues are addressed

The pool was nice. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived and did not get cleaned during our 6 day stay. There were used contact lenses next to the bed on our arrival and dirt on the floor. Pretty disappointing for a 3 star accommodation. I would at least expect cleanliness
