We love to stay at the Howard Johnson for our Disneyland trips. The Hotel is clean, offers bunk beds which is perfect for our kids and the water park and pool are something they look forward to using each stay. Unfortunately our room this stay had no hot water. We reported it early in the morning and we had maintenance there within about an hour. They attempted to fix it while we left for the park, and when they couldn’t they called us to let us know they needed us to move rooms. They moved us straight across the hall making it as easy as possible for us to relocate, and they kindly upgraded us to a kids suite which was amazing! We appreciate the staff at this location who are always friendly and welcoming. No matter who you interact with, they all greet you with a smile and a hello. This is why we keep coming back.

While there were areas in need of improvement, Im going 5 star for the simple fact of the grace I was given as last minute during our pool dip, I found out I had left my wallet at the Ihop up the street. Money, ID, cc, everything was GONE. Kudos to Ihop for getting it all back to me safely. But huge thankyou to the Hotel ftont desk staff for understanding the chaos as we checked out about 45 min late and recieved absolutely NO harassment about our timing. The house keeping staff was polite and the attendents in the mini store on site were helpful. The lifegards on duty were great and we will definitely stay again.

We just stayed here for a fun little Disney family getaway. We have a 1 and 4 year old. We were greeted with amazing front staff who gave our kids balloons which were a big hit. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Our problems came with the room. We were in building 6 on the 2nd floor and there were no elevators which made carrying all the things you need to bring with small kids difficult. Our biggest complaint though was in the room there were 2 giant sky lights with no curtains so it was constantly really warm even with ac on and super bright in the room even at night and with kids that made sleep VERY difficult. My 4 year old woke up at 1 am saying it’s was morning already. Other than the lighting in the room and the fact that the room never really got comfortable temperature wise the room was ok. It was definitely spacious which we liked but because we travel with small children and sleep is very important to us which requires more control over lighting and temperature we will not be able to stay at this hotel again. The kids pool and splash pad a fun activity though.

Great location and hotel with spacious rooms. Loved the pools and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Wish we would've booked the recently renovated rooms in Buildings 1 and 2, but overall still a great stay and already booking upcoming trip.

I picked this hotel because of how close it is to Disneyland. I've stayed at a few others near this one and this hotel was the quietest one of all of them and it is the closest to the fwy. The room was clean & comfortable. The check-in staff were nice and helpful. We will stay there again. Thank you!!

Sheets were not changed except for one bed. We noticed the other definitely was not. Front desk expected to do it the next day we were leaving. Just reminder, WE ON VACAY! Disneyland 😃 on top of it. MUCH NEEDED!

Great hotel walking distance to Disney! Very clean, friendly staff. We stayed four nights & felt safe & comfortable. The pool & water play area looked nice, though we never used. Loved their on site store for water/yogurt/snacks. The only downfall was that our room was on the ground level at the end, just next to the stairs. Very loud with people/children running up and down the stairs. Also worth noting that of the four nights, our room was only cleaned one time. Would definitely stay again!

The location is great. The front desk service wasn’t good. There is no elevator. The beds are very uncomfortable and the room was not clean and they are old. The water park is very small but it’s good for small kids. The front desk expects you to have a wrist band the entire time you plan on going into the water park and if you remove you must get a new one. The building wasn’t noise proof, you can hear everything! They don’t have security but yet they inform you all the time to not leave stuff in your car because people steal!
