Great place for the value, you get what you pay for. The units are a bit dated so I would give the property a 3 star rating. The restaurant in the property does serve some great tasting food at reasonable prices.

This is my favorite hotel in Panamá. Although reasonably priced, some of the updates done to the property are economically minded and obviously in favor of the hotel. For example, new air conditioners in all guest rooms, which front desk staff controls with a master switch regardless whether or not guests are in their rooms and have their own remote control to operate A/C. This makes it impossible to stay in your room all day due to a sickness and even though you call the front desk to turn A/C on they ignored you as long as possible until you make several more calls. Also, the service in the restaurant has declined tremendously, with customers having to wait a long time for their meals and food bills, not to mention staff attitudes. Will seriously reconsider booking again.

Hotel Milan, is my go to hotel while in Panamá, however, this time around they updated the air conditioning system which they can turn on and off at their will from a main control panel located adjacent to front desk. Although you can use the remote control to turn it on or off and adjust settings, it does you no good if staff cuts off the main power switch just so they can save usage regardless whether or not you’re in the room. Panamá city, it’s a very hot city in terms of weather and if you constantly have to call the front desk to turn on the A/C because the room becomes unbearably hot, then I rather stay somewhere else.

The internet was good. I only use the restaurant bar for coffee. The only problem I had was that they only offer large towels. No hand towels no washcloths. It's a no frills place, but it's good at being a No-Frills place. The bed could be a little better but again for what you're paying it's an excellent place.
