Perfect location for Guelaguetza

By far one of our best experiences while traveling was because the staff at the Suites de la Parra. This group of people are the most friendly, well informed, and hard working we have seen at a boutique hotel. We stayed during a busy festival time, but the rooms are so well insulated that you could ignore everything if you needed rest. Or if you wanted to experience it all, just walk out into the streets to experience the parades, music, and parties, everything is within a few blocks. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and we could see so many of the firework shows. The breakfast was delicious, we never wanted to miss it (which is hard to do, as they serve it for extended hours). We will be coming back!

Perfect location, great room

Nice small boutique hotel that is quiet with an excellent location. The rooms are set up like a suite, so they are very spacious. I recommend getting breakfast included. It is served on the rooftop terrace and a great way to start the day. Mary and Jorge were very accommodating and eager to give recommendations or make your food to order. One star off for "comfort" since our air conditioning unit didn't cool our room that well, but everything else was great.

Suites impecables, servicio de recepción ágil y amable, desayuno incluido pero lo sirven para n la azotea y no hay techos tienen una sola sombrilla para una mesa, el resto si te quieres quemar desayuna ahí. La secadora de cabello es súper vieja y hace mucho ruido pero se agradece que haya una.

Perfect little hotel and location!

Planned a trip with 3 friends and we were all satisfied with the accommodations, location, service and food. The rooms are suites varying in sizes and so clean, spacious and comfortable! The rooftop area with pool and where breakfast is served until 2:30pm is exceptional! The staff are very kind and helpful. Just note that there is no elevators so for people with mobility issues it might be challenging.

My room had no a/c , wen to front desk and they send someone to fix an she didn’t do anything, I asked for a fan, they didn’t have any, I called reception several times, no one answered, next day requested to speak to manager, none available. Wir hatten die Präsidentensuite mit viel Platz und 2 Kingsize Betten und mit einer riesigen Dachterrasse, von der wir das Treiben auf den Straßen dieser tollen Stadt beobachten und genießen konnten. The location is amazing. It’s right in the center and it’s walkable everywhere. The room I got was big, we got the two bedrooms and it’s a big suite with 2 queen beds and a king bed in another room. The only complain I have is the water pressure in the bathroom. It makes it very hard to shower because not a lot of water coming out.
