There was one amazing staff member that was working hard to make your stay. A great one. She needs help. Because it takes more than one person to run a hotel. With no hot tub cold indoor pool. Bad plumbing and a unclean look to the rooms. She can't do it all.

Obviously an older hotel, could have used some upgrades. My room was relatively clean, but i did find that the a/c unit was super dirty so i made sure to clean it myself as i didn’t want the extra dust circulating in the room. I also found that you could hear a lot of noise from other occupants, possibly due to the age of the hotel and lack of soundproofing.

Thought we were getting a nice room and paid up for it. It was very dated and smelled adly of smoke. Should be priced about half of what it is. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast smelled good but we didn't see it or eat there. Overall was disappointing

It was very clear that the bathtub hadn’t been cleaned, had black hair in the tub, drain and on the wall. Blue streak of either body wash or shampoo on the shower wall. Hot tub wasn’t working, didn’t state this in their listing.

Staff was nice. Hot tub didn't work. Pool was dirty and full of the staffs kid's personal toys. No way would you get me in it. Room was clean. Parking lot, trash cans were full of trash everywhere. Very disgusting. Vending machine didn't work. The staff was putting breakfast away before the time was even over when we got there. She didn't bother to bring what she put away backk out. If we hadn't booked prior, we would never have stayed here, will never again.

Parking lot is small, narrow and pot holes. No good if you have a trailer with a bike. Not very clean, outdated rooms. Hair in the shower. Dirty exhaust fan. Small beds, they claim are queen. Over priced for what they offer.

We left before we even unpacked. The shower was dirty and had pink stains, the lock on the door to the building was broken and the door was blowing open and the interior latch to the room door was also broken and there was cardboard put over the peekhole in the door.

Location is great. Price was really good, Room, staff and hotel were average but for the price average was fine. The issue was they say they have an outside pool, an indoor pool and a hot tub. When we got there clearly the outside pool was not working as it was empty (and this is June in Missouri). When we checked in there was a sign that said pool and hot tube are not working. I asked about this and they said the indoor pool was working. The indoor pool had water but was only useable if you want hypothermia. This is the only entertainment at the hotel (no game room, gym etc.) so we had to find more activities to do during down time which meant spending extra money. Also a lake vacation with no pool? I started reading reviews and it seems like the pool problem has existed for 9 months or longer. You think no working pool you would notify people before they arrive. I know I would have booked a different hotel or had other plans for the time between our activities.At this point I would think it is false advertisement to say you have pools and a hot tub. Pools and hot tub are the reason I booked this hotel. If you want a pool stay someplace else. I know I will next time.

Staff was helpful but all vending machines and ice machines were out of order. The reason we picked this hotel was there hot tub and indoor pool both we could not use because they were out of order also, they gave a great breakfast but didn’t have half the stuff they normally do. See we have been going there for years and never had a problem but this year not happy at all. They did say hot tub would be ready by April so I will be checking on that. I just wish when we booked they would have sent email that hot tub was not working. For price it was overall not to bad our bed was sinking in middle so hubby and I slept right up against each other.
